My palms would always sweat before the opening cadenza of the danse and on that performance itself, fortunately, i didnt do too bad, but they didnt put it on video anyways. I am quite proud that my own country finally has its own national youth orchestra, but rehearsals have been terrible lately, and the orchestra's standards seem to be going no where. I guess that's the limit that Malaysia can offer at the moment.
I really hope music education thrives in Malaysia, soon, and i guess that is where i come in. They have a huge music library here in the conservatory, and other infrastructures are great too. (Steinways and Yamahas in every room, wow!) I hope classes go well too. I will have to utilize my time properly, and i think that is where the challenge really is.
