Was that an mpeg grapped from a vhs tape or?
Listening to the two clips mentioned in the first post, the Youtube clip is best, although being mono; in the second mvt. the sound is fuller and stereo but unfortunaetly also damaged, sounds like bad tracking of a vhs tape.
Holliger doesn't have the fullest of sounds, agreed, but keep in mind not only to judge him from bad transfers. Or compressed files, like most you can watch on the Internet.
