Re: The mystery of sheet music

I have heard of an instance where a big band (18 piece) were reading their parts from flat screens on their 'stands' instead of from sheets of paper, thus avoiding any page turning or getting their music out of programme order.

Must be tough on the eyes after a while, though it does away with having lights clipped onto their music stands.

But it's all very well until the computer crashes or someone pulls the plug!
