Hi everyone,
Some of you may have seen my posts on the other list and the mailing list. But, long story short, I made a suggestion that a presentation be given at IDRS this summer in Ithaca on effective knife sharpening. This would include some basic ins/outs (nuts and bolts) of how to properly sharpen knives. In addition, the big appeal would be to include demonstrations of the various different methods of knife sharpening (i.e. croc sticks, leather strops, steels, shapton/jende, etc..) and how they each work.
If you are interested in helping out by sharing your success with one of these various methods, please email me. If you know of someone else not on these lists who has great success in sharpening, who would be willing to share their ideas, please forward their contact info to me. You can either reply to this post or email me privately at my email above.
