Yup, mine are subjected to coffee in the morning (2 or 3 pots worth) and mint tea in the evening.

The tough thing about the ultrasonic cleaner is there's stuff we want to keep out (the food, alcohol, minerals, etc.) but there's also stuff we want to keep in (the foggy organic material mentioned earlier.) I'm not sure if the ultrasonic does more good or harm. In any case, I make three or four reeds a day so I don't worry about this much either.
