Juan, I also am a clarinet player who made the move 4 years ago. I started out on a plastic Signet 120. It's now marketed with the Selmer name on it, but its probably similar. You can get a decent starter oboe for < 700, easily. Don't spring for a good one (2000+) until you're comfortable with a student model.
