I use both the E and S concurrently with my regular corked Loree staples. I really like the E staple. I find it very easy to refine the tone, and the stability is incredible. The S staple (the fatter looking one), I find, is more difficult to achieve stability on. Mind you, I haven't really used them in winter a whole lot yet. I found that in the humid summer, the reeds made on the Chudnow-S were just too wild and "big."

I use a Joshua +4 shape.
