Hi Hockey! I'm a beginning adult oboist (1 year plus a few months of playing), so I don't know that I can give you much advice or tips. Maybe you could share with the board what you know. :-) I do like to talk about the oboe, read about the oboe, play the oboe, etc.,. and when this list does talk, it is very interesting and informative. Nobody posts as often as the clarinet board. I wish there were more postings, but since I don't contribute much myself then I really can't complain. I hope you will continue to post here. Maybe you can start a new topic or get the ball rolling.
