It could be because there's a 'dried water stain' running from the reed down to the 3rd octave hole.. so each time you play, there's a high chance of water running down the same track.

When that happens for me, I find a day where I don't play as much and let the instrument dry out after practice. I read somewhere that if you oil the bore before letting it dry out completely, then the oil will trap the water beneath! I will then oil the instrument. I don't have scientific proof for this but it always works for me. Good luck!
