That's your Ab-Bb trill mechanism - the G# key holds the LH2 fingerplate down to give a well-tuned Bb when trilling LH finger 2 whilst fingering Ab. It's a lightly sprung lever and shouldn't hold down the LH2 fingerplate. If it is binding, then get it seen to.
As the note A issues from the LH3 tonehole, you could have something else causing you trouble.
