 Re: Cork Grease

I have been using Selmer's "Tuning slide & Cork Grease" for about 5 years. It is honey like consistency. I am not sure what it is made out of.

Pros are: It works and it does not leave any residues. I like that. I need to use very little on the joint corks and reed cork. Not too loose, not too tight, just right.

Cons are: The bottle gets greasy even when I did not spill any. It seems to crawl over and leak out. It appears to have very high surface tension. I have to wash the bottle with soap and water every few months. A bit messy to have it around.

Anyone have any experience with this products?
