Leone Buyse is the Mullen Professor of Flute at Rice University's Shepherd School of Music. In the early 1980s she was a member of the San Francisco Symphony and formed a quintet with other members, notably the late Bill Bennett, the Caselli Ensemble.
Leone's page includes SoundCloud links to many of this SF quintet's performances. Wonderful to hear this great group (especially Bill Bennett) once again in these old recordings.
