The Cabart English horn was likely made just before, during, or just after WWII.
1000 Euro is an extremely attractive price for this instrument assuming it is in good playable condition. Full automatic, though you can have an auxiliary second octave key touch added for a truly modest sum... Has left F, F resonance, and low articulated C#. If it plays well (you may need to try some "high end" bocals with the instrument), the price recommends it.
