When did the logo on the bell of Marigaux oboes change from the SML logo to the more simple 'Marigaux' of today?
Also, on the older Marigaux oboes (with SML logo), did it say 'strasser' when it was a Strasser? Or did it just say 'Marigaux'?

I think it was sometime in the mid to late 2000s when they dropped the SML logo. My cor from 1998 has the SML logo. Strassers previously had Strasser on them as well as the SML logo.

I only have one data-point for you - my Strasser Marigaux circa 1975, serial number 8787.
It has the SML logo, with the brand STRASSER over the top. The name Marigaux does not appear on the instrument. The case bears a plaque with Strasser Marigaux in the lower right-hand quadrant, and inside the cover is embossed
J. Marigaux

Even though my teacher's Marigaux oboe (from 1974) is stencilled 'Lucerne Artist', it still came in a Marigaux case with the Marigaux info in gold on the lid cushion and Marigaux stamped into the lid in gold too.

For reference, my 901 is from 2001, and still carries the SML logo, with Marigaux in script underneath.
