I don't know much about the sound alchemy aspect, but I myself am looking to buy a bulgheroni Opera model in the next 6 months -- they are FANTASTIC horns! I have played on a Loree (professionally) and teaching college on the Loree for 13 years and will switch to a Bulgheroni when I buy a new one. Great horns!
