The Adagio is the Sinfonia from Cantata BWV 156 "Ich steh mit einem Fuß im Grabe" and has been used as the slow movement in a multitude of concertos.

I like this recording of the Sinfonia best: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYtABuJ3epU - the oboist here is Burkhard Glaetzner.

Former oboe finisher
Howarth of London
1998 - 2010

The opinions I express are my own.
