yup. Sure did.

A drop or two of superglue, a quick twist of the tube inside the cork, and then I left it to dry after checking no glue had entered the tube from the bottom. I didn't touch it for about a week :-) I wasn't going to risk the reed sticking into the bottom of the reed well!

The reed is working just fine, and no longer slips round inside the cork.
