Have any you played the Altuglas?

I may be in the market for an "outdoor concert" Oboe.

I would like to know how it plays compared to the wooden Marigaux. Might be a decade or more down the road, but if it is equally as good as the wooden one, I would be interested it getting it next as my main (not just for outdoors) oboe. Pity that Marigaux did not have a completed one when I visited their shop. They showed me part of one that was in progress (I think only the posts were installed).

I tried one at the 2002 IDRS Conference. To me it played and sounded like a wooden Marigaux. If I remember correctly, Francois Leleux played on it and sounded fantastic, but I guess he could play on anything and it would still sound fantastic.
