I got my first one from Charles Double Reed. There are various levels that include different knives, and you can choose one with or without staples and cane (the staples and cane aren't great, so I wouldn't bother). They will let you substitute in alternative equipment at the same discount (I think it's around 15% off each item for buying a kit, but not sure). I got a Landwell knife and a really nice Pisoni mandrel and cutting block with mine. I found it to be pretty good value for money.
