The Young Players Philharmonic in Central New Jersey currently has an opening for principal oboe of High School or younger age. An advanced level is required for this orchestra as we play the standard orchestra literature in the original form (no arrangements)
The YPP rehearses on Sunday afternoons from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. All information is posted to our web site along with video to demonstrate the level of the orchestra.
Acceptance is by audition and the audition will consist of scales, a prepared piece of your choosing (preferably a sonata or concerto) and a short sight reading segment.
Rehearsals begin on September 16. A great opportunity for an advanced player.

Dvorak - Symphony no. 9 "New World"
Milhaud - Souvenirs of Brazil "Saudades do Brazil.
