Oboe players have to stretch it out now and then, after all.
This version is a POC and I was having some fun with some of the softsynths that are part of my Pro Tools rig.
I'd like to actually be able to play guitar, but in this case its me using midi keyboard and applying a guitar synth patch. Still, it is fun to experiment like this.
A version of this tune is in progress with my group of Oxymora friends from around the country and will use oboe with real bass, real guitar, piano and drums, too.
I'll update this post with a link to that when I think I am getting close to a final mix. Waiting on my guitar player for now, so it'll probably be a little while before that update.
