 English horn geometry

Is the shape of the bore inside English horn similar to an oboe (except for the foot)?

How wide is the top of the English horn bore? Is there a step-like change in the diameter where the air enters from the bocal to the body of the instrument?

I have to ask as I have no access to an English horn to measure it myself. I have a vintage oboe.
