To answer a couple email ?s.... I play a Loree english horn circa 1983.
I don't gouge or shape ehorn cane, and just buy it and play it.
Piano here is midi data from my Alesis QS8 synth played in real-time but realized as sound via plugins on my Pro Tools rig in my studio.
Adjunct drum parts were done on my Roland Hand-Sonic HPD-15.
It was great fun doing multiple parts on this tune. It has been a long-time favorite.
And getting to pay a little homage to what Paul McCandless did with the tune with Oregon in the 1970's was a treat.
