reed 1st aid for black mould

Hi Players,

One of my EH reeds recently developed some streaks of black mold, so I treated it and now it's working great. I just thought I'd share the recipe:

In a WELL-VENTILATED AREA:
Mix equal parts liquid dish soap and chlorine bleach in a glass container, add 4 more parts hot (not boiling) water (i.e. 1 T soap, 1 T bleach, 2T hot water)
[You DON'T want to breathe this in, the chemicals react and can easily trigger asthma, etc.]

Submerge the entire reed for 5-10 minutes.
Rinse THOROUGHLY and dry THOROUGHLY before putting it back into a case.

I know that some of you would just throw it out and that is fine, but I cannot afford to lose a good reed to normal household flora, if I can help it.
