I'm really happy with the Fox 330 my student just bought, used, good price, solid instrument, will last her for years. Several oboe sites sell these.
I know you want a new one and that's fine if you can afford one. I'm with the others: get a local pro-oboist (or at least a good 'sub' like me) to help you buy a good instrument. It's an investment, and you'll need to try before you buy.
If there is a local music store that has more than one oboe (and brand of oboe) in stock, you should be able to go try them out. Even then, you can miss a good instrument because it's slightly out of adjustment.
