Author: oboeagogo  Date:   2012-04-17 15:28 Carolyn Hove, English horn with Los Angeles Phil, wrote a touching blog entry about him on her website. She tells of their experience together and of some important advice he passed on to her. While at CCM, I had the opportunity to play with Mr. Schiltz on a faculty recital. He was a great coach in the 3 days we had to prepare. It was amazing to sit across from him as we played Darryl Handel's Trio for oboe, English horn and piano. I will do my best to post on Youtube within the next few days. I feel fortunate to have had a few hours of working with him and consider it one of the highlights of my musical life best, oboeagogo
