I was just looking through some of the Strauss Concerto videos on youtube and I came across one by a Polish group, I think, and possibly the photo in question here, is one taken some time ago of the oboist there, Mariusz Pedzialek. The ears and chin look very similar. There is, of course, a significant difference in time between the two views, so its just a guess. I see cane showing and the instrument looks to have the low, B-flat resonance/sharpening key, which I think makes it a Loree. What does anybody else think?
When I went back to look at this again, I couldn't find it!
