Actually I enjoyed it..I didnt listen beyond the first piece and couldnt really hear the speaking which given that it is in either swedish or dutch wouldnt mean anything to me as I dont speak either.. equally my speakers on my laptop are very poor..I loved the very casual approach to the Oboe playing..I just hope that the comments box isn't filled with endless inane questions such as "Whats the name of that Song".. or "What Oboe do you play on".. both of which are infintely more irritating..
I don't see how we can avoid politics even in music..I'm not political in the least so I choose to ignore the diatribe which in this case I wasn't able to understand..Equally I don't understand why this thread should be edited or removed or how the OP can edit the video..whats so terrible about it?..Sorry jhoyla but I don't see what the issue is..The Arts have often been used in a politcal sense or to draw attention to a situation..Live Aid all those years ago did just that and Northern Ireland for example has had many concerts for peace where the classical world meets the popular music world (how we all love Dana's "All Kinds Of Everything")..we can't live in a bubble however much the thought of it might appeal, the world is a mess and music helps heal and bring to the wider attention of the masses what is going on..
