 Recording: one year later.

So it's been about a year now, since I started practicing the oboe more seriously. Still limited to 30-45 minutes a day (average). Although on some very happy days I can do up to 3 hours (very rare), there still are times I go 2-3 days without; sometimes because of the job, sometimes because of chronic fatigue & fibromyalgia.

But on my blog, I put up the recordings I made over the week-end of the Telemann sonata for oboe in A minor.

I'll be discussing it more in the next post, because again, this was an adventure in sound-recording with many discoveries and more experimentation left to do.

Also a little discussion on multi-track recording using pre-recorded accompaniment... and style clashes....

I hope this doesn't offend your ears too much, but rather that it encourages people to keep enjoying this wonderful passion!
