Just wanted to rant about something....today i tried a friend's new Marigaux M2....one of the most beautiful oboes i have ever played (apparently picked from many oboes, including 3 of which were M2s, and this was as good as another 901 but the rest were no where near)...made my Buffet sound rather sorry in the top register. On the M2 the 2nd octave was so easy and sat immediately....oh when will i ever get to have one like that!
