Starting with the youngest is great as this is when they can build memories of the joys of goodness in life.... if a person's life does turn out sour, these remain in the background and often resurface later to help motivate getting out!
Strings: lets face it, Chinese violins are cheap and if they break, they still play! Later, it's good to go brass because they are also much less delicate than woodwinds and Salvation Army bands are usually just honking fantastic!
