Ziplock bags.... or airtight plastic containers.
Each identifying cane source, date of purchase, in some cases can dimensions, ala 10.0 - 10.5 mm diameter.
There was a time when little bugs... bores of some sort were eating holes in the cane.
It is important to protect against that little pest.
Have not seen it for a long while, but I did see it and it ruined a couple pounds of cane... well bad cane, but all cane is bad until you've had it a decade or two.
