There are many, many duet books. Try Trevco music for many choices. I've also had good luck using the commonly available Voxman duets written for saxophones. They come in 2 levels, Book one and Book two, and lie in the right range. Most music stores carry them so you can look at them and see if they suit your purpose. Some flute duets work, especially the ones for beginners which use less extreme high notes. The old edition of Ferling etudes has a book 2 which includes duets and also the part needed to complete the Beethoven Trio for 2 oboes and English Horn. The old Niemann Method book has many pleasant duets and is more suitable for an adult. Lois Barton
