Hi everyone,
Other than the Rimsky-Korsakov, are there any other good pieces for oboe solo and Band? The band director wants to do a piece with me, this year hopefully.
Generally we don't have much in the way of the out of the norm auxiliary instruments, so No Eb clarinet although I can get a friend to play from my alma mater, we probably can get our hands on an alto if needed, 1 bassoonist (my student's all alone!), a couple of beginner oboists that I'm teaching, but other than that, everything else is pretty basic.
