Michael Untch has a very good book on making oboe reeds in the traditional German way. It is very precisely depicted because it only uses photos. Ole-Henrik Dahl also has a very substantial book on the same topic. These are all worth reading and may be present some interest for you. And check out as well the reeds made by Alphons, truly of the Dutch school and represents the sound made by many of the oboe sections in the top Netherlands orchestras.
