Are you playing an 841 or an 831? I've played both in the past: about five years on an 841 and a little over a year on an 831. I used 47mm Pisoni brass "Artist" staples with both instruments. I used several shaper tips with those oboes: mostly Rigotti -1N and Rigotti -1 (I still use the latter with my Greenline), but also a couple of the narrower Adam tips. They're all good tips, though I consider the Adam ones overpriced.
