I agree with Hautbois that it's best to have the repairs done in a relatively familiar climate. Currently, Arizona is a cool 60 degrees and cloudy.
Having that said, I live in Eugene in a moister climate, and David did most of my repairs on my C series when I owned it. He did indeed ream it out, making it a "bore adjusted" instrument. It opens it up, and makes it more freeblowing and resonant, however it also will make the overall instrument "brighter" as some people put it. I think the tone because more focused and projecting.
