 home-made reed cases

Does anyone know where to buy the molded foam rubber to glue into a suitable box (like old cigarette cases) to hold and separate reeds? I got some wonderful stuff at the Ithaca IDRS meeting 2 years ago from a German company. I had hoped a dealer over here would stock it. It takes only a few minutes to make a reed cases by cutting the 1/2 inch wide strip to necessary length and gluing in with contact cement. A year or so ago someone tried getting some from the German dealer but the shipping cost was very high. I have made very attractive reed cases from old cigarette cases as presents for my graduating students but find making the dividers to hold the reeds difficult until I found this perfectly spaced and formed foam rubber strips. It was sold by the yard and rather expensive--but you only need and inch or two for a reed case. Thanks for any information. Lois Barton
