Just got the dots this evening - I'm doing oboe/oboe d'amore 2 which is still pretty busy. The entire 4th section has been cut.
But at least it's a contrast to what I'm doing over the next couple of weeks - this week it's 'West Side Story' (reed 3), the weekend is all sax 4tet in the Naval dockyard (mostly carols), the following week is all marching band over in the Falklands and I would be doing a Big Band karaoke night (all Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Matt Monroe, Nina Simone, etc.) on the 13th but I'm doing the Bach instead as I want to do more d'amore playing. Let's hope nothing kicks off in the meantime while were all out in the Falklands otherwise the RAF won't be flying us back!
