Just looking up simple system oboes in Anthony Baines' book mentions some cross fingerings are better than the keyed fingerings (which he mentions are mainly used for trills and fast passages) which I've copied here:

(lower register)
C - oxo|ooo (N.B. on German instruments, oxo|xxo)

(upper register w/o 8ve key)
(A - xxo|xxxC)
Bb - xxo|xxxEb (Eb key is sometimes not necessary)
B - xox|xxxEb (Eb key is sometimes not necessary)
C - oxx|xxo

Former oboe finisher
Howarth of London
1998 - 2010

The opinions I express are my own.
