Is it a blackwood or cocobolo XL?
Does the crack go through the toneholes (causing it to leak) or is it in the wood in between (but not impairing playability)? Considering how the changeable weather has been just recently I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't a factor - I've been nervous about playing my kingwood oboe in cold rehearsal rooms (and I've lent my plastic oboe out as well!).
Either way, it's always best to have it checked to see what needs to be done. If it's between toneholes, it may terminate where the bedplaces have been cut into the wood, or could spread and terminate in the toneholes either side (which is a good thing as it's less likely to spread any further up or down the joint) which can be bushed and recut, and the crack filled.
