Jill, this is an inexpensive repair that you can do for yourself, but it can become problematic if you aren't well-versed in oboe adjustment. All you need is a cork from any craft/hobby store, a razor blade, and a tube of crazy glue or 5-min epoxy. However, if you cut the strips of cork too thick or too thin for a specific location, it can become impossible to correctly adjust the oboe. So if you already know all about oboe adjustment, you can definitely figure out the necessary cork widths and do it yourself. If not, it's quite risky.
Cheers,
Drew
