i scream @ the thought of plastic reeds! yes i agree no scraping would be fun but i still believe wood would be the better choice.you can try it and compare it 2 wood reeds but iwould say why bother.i mean its just like saying u have a choice between a wood oboe and a plastic oboe, and price wasnt really an issue,which would u choose?
