So, go for it. But you'll have to transpose the one that's in G, too, won't you? Since it's a third lower than the one in B, it's not really playing in unison with the first horn, it only looks like that in the score; it's really a third lower? Or something like that. Transposing instruments make my head explode, better you than me.
If one of your mediocre players is an oboist, s/he's going to be stopped cold at measure 10, unless you take the tempo considerably slower than allegro con brio.
