in california if you are handicapped the state give you a sign to put on your dash so you can park in special areas.
So if you play a clarinet you can put it on your dash and the police will know that you have a handicap.
now does it make sense.

Yep, here (Iowa) we have special license plates for the handicapped. None have clarinets embossed on them (only bassoons).

Gee, I never thought of that... if I should have my blue placard hanging from the mirror *and* a clarinet case on the seat, if a cop sees both, he might just try to take my keys away. I'm sure there's such a thing as being entirely *too* handicapped.
