The Pomarico "GG's" were good mouthpieces, and used by many fine clarinetists. They played fine - a little restrictive but quite adequate. I never followed up to get them worked on. I had 2 of them, but since sold them to colleagues.
I believe they were the supplier of the blanks for Vandoren's crystal mouthpieces until they (Vandoren) decided to discontinue their crystal line.
My primary mouthpiece is a very fine (selected from about 30) Vandoren crystal (which was very slightly worked on).
I did store away a few extra selected Vandoren crystals as well, just in case the floor comes up to bite my primary mouthpiece...GBK
