Okay, so here's the deal... i have lost the key to my humidor which houses my reeds, i have an audition tomorrow and i can't get into my humidor to get a reed... does anyone have ANY idea how i might get into my humidor without completely demolishing it?

Keil...Perhaps I'm not understanding how your humidor works, but why would you have locked it in the first place?

Are there lots of reed thefts in your neighborhood? ...GBK

No reed thefts GBK...he just wants to hog all the good reeds!

Humidors have really elementary locks. Any locksmith should have a key that fits, or be able to pick the lock or force it open without much harm to the box.

You might be able, without too much difficulty, work the hinge pins out. That way you might be able to at least shake your favorite reeds out of it. As I mentioned earlier, try picking it with a paperclip or something. The locks are not complicated, mostly for decoration and keeping the contents from spilling. Much like most instrument cases.
Paper clips make wonderful tools when you bend 'em just right :)
