I'm very new here. I played clarinet since 5th grade to 8th grade. Haven't been playing since until 5 years ago I bought a new Clarinet, and really enjoying playing it again. This sounds kind of dumb question? My (low E)on my Bb Clarinet couldn't get the sound right. Not sure if it needs to be adjust, it seems to be sticking once awhile. Is there an site on the net, where show how to adjust keys on the clarinet, without going to the shop?

There are at least 20 factors which stop the low E & F keys from operating corectly, and a lot more ways to correcting them. Unless you are mechanically astute enough to pick the relevant one(s) yourself there is little point in getting involved.
This is routine stuff for a GOOD technician. In fact there are leaks associated with these keys on almost every clarinet that comes for servicing.
However an average technician, like the do-it-yourselfer, may well do a particularly poor job in this area of a clarinet.
I see the evidence pretty well every week.

i recently had a sudden problem with my low e. It took my tech-guy about 30 seconds to make an adjustment at no charge. I have no idea what he did. Unless a problem is an obvious and easy to correct, go to a repair shop. It is well worth the $ and you won't make matters worse by taking them in your own hands- Your horn is a good friend and derserves the best- LMS

How can you determine, if you have a leak in low E? This at least should be possible to any player. I mean, you can close the end with a cork (I have a rubber for this), close all keys and suck. But how dense must it be to work correctly? And, if you close the E with the left pinky alone, how hard a pressure should be necessary?

If you press the left pinky as hard as an 8 year old child is capable of, i.e. qute gently, and blow - not sufficiently hard that all the spring-loaded pads start opening - then you should hear no air leak out of those low f/C & E/B pads.
If you suck you don't HEAR leaks so well.

If you need more pinky pressure than this, then you may not notice it in slow passages but it will certainly interfere with response in faster ones when you fingers don't have the time to press hard.
