1)....have a beautiful wood Buffet mouthpiece. Plays like you can't believe. Has DG 45 logo'd on the very bottom right side(in BIG letters)....Any of you know what it stands for?
2)....R-13 wobbles between upper and lower joint. Have had my repair tech replace the cork twice now. Both times it stops the wobbling for a short while...then it starts again. Why? Should I have those metal tenon caps put on?
Y'all are great....thanks....

Perhaps this has some relative information to your mouthpiece:

Maybe not.
The tenon shoulders may be worn, or inadvertantly have been sanded down a bit. A tenon cap should aleviate the situation but a cheaper route may be to take teflon tape (look for it in the plumbing section of your favorite hardward store) and wrap around the tenon shoulders. The stuff is super cheap and this winter when the humidity changes you may not need it.

Thanks John....
As always you have a referrence if not an answer. Daniel Gautier?
Don't know who he is. And wonder if the DG is "him" or...
The MPC is obiously "old" since it came with a wooden MPC cover with silver ring around it. Unless it's mis-matched. Could be.
At any rate, it plays exceptionally well....WELL....not as good as Artie...but.....certainly as good as Bertrand Hemajohlan. 'preciate the input. As always.

I would contact Boosey and see if they have any answers. Laurie or Francois should be able to assist.
