Does anyone know anything about Moennig brothers clarinets? (Not New Hans Moennig style barrels)

Hi, Sandra
Don't know a lot about Gebrueder Moennig history. They have a website that I've misplaced at the moment. They're still going strong, making woodwind instruments (don't know whether they do brass horns or not). I have a Moennig Bros. Oehler system (my main instrument) so, I know they've been around a long, long time.

Interesting, I have a "Moennig Bros. Germany, Artist Model" oboe, a ?turn-of-the-century? "simple-system" [Ger.] oboe ser. # 5016. Some of the keywork is diff. from the Fr-Eng-Am simple-military oboe, I'll try to describe in case anyone is that interested in it. While it has a cracked-repaired UJ, it appears to be well built.
